Hi there!

You may be aware of my latest obsession - Rangitoto Island, a young volcanic island in Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand. I have started a series of articles about Rangitoto Island trying to give shape and colour to an old project.

Two articles have been already published:

The succulent corner at Yankee Wharf, Rangitoto Island (2009)

and

The fragile boundary between conservation and destruction on Rangitoto Island, Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand (Part 1)

I highly recommend you especially the second one (but be aware of the 10mb file).

Enjoy!

Hi,

Thank you Thierry   I greatly appreciate your feedback.

Fact is that Rangitoto Island became quite an obsession for me lately.  I realize now that I didn't put The fragile boundary between conservation and destruction on Rangitoto Island, Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand (Part 1) back on my website (I had few problems while  editing the web pages in early December and lost quite a lot) - here's a link for the file:

http://eduart.opendrive.com/files/53544997_fwuWP_ecf2/Conservation%20on%20Rangitoto%20-%20Part%201.pdf

Part two was due by mid 2010 but it is still a work in progress as I have the feeling that I still need some field work.

Cheers,

Eduart
